ITINERARY

Day 01 :
Delhi → Haridwar (Evening Ganga Aarti)
Day 02 :
Haridwar → Barkot (via Mussoorie)

Pickup from Haridwar meet and greet by tour representative and then drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. En route visit Kemptyfall. Upon arrival check in into the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot. Acclimatize yourself to start a trek to Yamunotri from JanakiChatti

Day 03 :
Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot

After breakfast proceed to Yamunotri here can cook rice in Garam Pani kund. Tourist take this cooked rice to home as "Prasad". "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, after taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's (HOT WATER) and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji" return back to Barkot Hotel for overnight stay.   Things TO DO   Rituals & Activities: Snan in Tapt Kund Yamnotri, Yamuna Pujan in Divya Shila , Yamnotri Temple Darshan , Hanuman Temple. Optional: Participate in Pre Booked Aarti in Yamnotri Temple where you will get advantage of performing Aarti in your Name / Gotra. Yamunotri: Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is the source of revered river Yamuna which originates from the Champasar Glacier lying 1 km ahead of the shrine situated at an elevation of 3235 mts above sea level. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer Pooja at the temple itself. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage Asit Muni. Yamuna is the daughter of the Sun just like Yama who is considered his son. It is believed that Yama would not torment any person at the time of death who takes a holy dip in Yamuna, his sister. Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshiped before entering the Yamunotri Temple

Day 04 :
Barkot → Uttarkashi

After breakfast leave for Uttarkashi visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and drive to Gangnani . Evening free for leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi - Uttarkashi is a small and beautiful town, situated between two rivers; Varuna and Ashi, whose water flow into the Bhagirathi from either side of the town. Elevated, at a height of 1588 meters, this little town is very similar to Kashi and Varanasi, in that it has the same kind of temples and Ghats and likewise, a north or 'Uttar' facing river. It is believed that in the second millennium of Kaliyug, Kashi will be submerged, and Uttarkashi will replace it as an important religious centre

Day 05 :
Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi

Gangotri: Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly, to another legend, Pandavas performed the great "Deva Yagna" here to a tone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.

Day 06 :
Uttarkashi → Guptkashi

After morning Breakfast check out from the hotel then drive towards Guptkashi. Check in at the hotel have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07 :
Guptkashi → Kedarnath (Night Stay)

Early morning after departure for Sonprayag then take another taxi to Gaurikund. Then trek start to Kedarnath Temple Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan. Then overnight stay at HomeStay in Kedarnath. By Helicopter: Morning our driver will drop you your Prebook Helipad. You can inform driver about your arrival time whether it will by helicopter or by trek, so that Driver will be there to pick you up. (Note: helicopter ticket is not included in this package). By Trek: Morning our driver will transfer you at Sonprayag then you have to take local jeep for Gaurikund & then your trek starts for Kedarnath ji. After Darshan you follow same & return to Sonprayag. There is big parking issue so driver will back to other palace if his contact no. in not working then you have to arrange other taxi or wait for your driver. Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, feel guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for ransom. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. Kedarnath Weather – Due to its high elevation the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most part of the year. Summer here is cool and agreeable while winter is severe. During summer season the temperature varies around 20°Celsius. Light woolen wear is recommended. Winter season in Kedarnath is severe with mercury falling to as low as 0°Celsius. During this time the place experiences snowfall as well. Due to the extreme chilly climatic conditions, this time is usually avoided by tourists. Kedarnath Weather – Due to its high elevation the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most part of the year. Summer here is cool and agreeable while winter is severe. During summer season the temperature varies around 20°Celsius. Light woolen wear is recommended. Winter season in Kedarnath is severe with mercury falling to as low as 0°Celsius. During this time the place experiences snowfall as well. Due to the extreme chilly climatic conditions, this time is usually avoided by tourists.

Day 08 :
Kedarnath → Guptkashi

Early Morning Puja and Darshan at the Temple, Morning starts trek down to Gaurikund, on arrival meet with driver and leave for Guptkashi, on arrival Guptkashi check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09 :
Guptkashi → Peepalkoti/Pandukeshwar

After breakfast proceed to Pipakoti via Joshimath, (Narsimha Temple, Sankaracharaya Math) and move to Pipalkoti check in at the hotel dinner and overnight stay.  

Day 10 :
Peepalkoti/Pandukeshwar → Badrinath → Peepalkoti/Pandukeshwar

Morning after breakfast and then drive to Badrinath temple (walking distance) for Darshan and Puja and then move to  Pipakoti hotel check in at the hotel dinner and overnight stay. Things to Do Rituals & Activities: Early Morning take a holy dip in Tapt Kund, have again Darshan of Badri Vishal if time allows otherwise Important visit to Nag Nagin Pith (One of the important place in India for Sarp kal Dosh Nivaran), Short Visit to Mana Village (Vyas Cave, Ganesha Cave, Keshav Prayag, Darshan of Sarasawati Udgam (origin), Charan Paduka Darshan. Badrinath: Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines - Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with 'badris' or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was unable to withstand the force of its decent. Therefore, the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.

Day 11 :
Peepalkoti/Pandukeshwar → Haridwar

Morning Breakfast and then drive to Haridwar via Panchprayag Darshan and Srinagar Garhwal. En-route visits the Confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River which is called Devprayag(According to time) Than continue drive towards Haridwar. On arrival drop you at the Airport/Railway station for onwards destination. Rudraprayag (Confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandakini)

Day 12 :
Haridwar → Delhi
