01. Policy Overview

This Return & Refund Policy applies to travel packages, tours, yatras, transportation, accommodation arrangements and other travel services booked through Panchbhootyatra.

Due to the nature of travel bookings, services are often reserved in advance with hotels, transport operators, local service providers and other third-party vendors.

Accordingly, once Panchbhootyatra confirms a booking and receives payment, the amount paid is generally considered committed towards the arrangement of the requested travel services.

02. No Refund Policy

All confirmed bookings are non-refundable.

Once a travel package has been booked and payment has been received or the booking has otherwise been confirmed by Panchbhootyatra, the customer is generally not entitled to a refund for cancellation, non-use or discontinuation of the booked service.

03. Booking & Payment

Customers are responsible for reviewing the package details, itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, dates, number of travellers and other booking information before making payment.

By proceeding with a booking, the customer confirms that the information supplied to Panchbhootyatra is accurate and that they have understood the applicable package terms.

Panchbhootyatra may require a booking amount, advance payment or full payment depending on the selected package and booking requirements.

04. Cancellation by the Customer

If a customer chooses to cancel a confirmed booking, Panchbhootyatra will generally not provide a refund.

This applies irrespective of whether the cancellation is due to personal circumstances, change of plans, inability to travel, transportation issues, work commitments, family circumstances or other reasons, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Customers are therefore strongly encouraged to verify their travel plans before confirming a booking.

05. Changes to Travel Plans

Requests to change travel dates, traveller details, accommodation, vehicle category, itinerary or package type after confirmation may be subject to availability and additional charges.

Panchbhootyatra is not obligated to provide a refund where a requested modification cannot be accommodated.

Any modification, if accepted, will be subject to the terms communicated to the customer at the time of modification.

06. Changes to Services

Travel itineraries may sometimes need to be adjusted because of weather, road conditions, government instructions, operational circumstances, accommodation availability, transportation availability or other factors.

Panchbhootyatra may make reasonable changes to the itinerary or service arrangements when necessary for the safety, feasibility or operational continuity of the journey.

Such changes do not automatically create a right to a refund where the overall travel service remains reasonably capable of being provided.

07. Weather & Unavoidable Circumstances

Travel to Himalayan destinations may be affected by circumstances beyond the control of Panchbhootyatra.

• Heavy rainfall
• Landslides
• Snowfall
• Road closures
• Government restrictions
• Natural disasters
• Local emergencies
• Transport disruptions
• Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Where such circumstances affect the journey, Panchbhootyatra may modify, postpone or rearrange services where reasonably possible.

Any refund or adjustment in such circumstances will depend on amounts recoverable from the relevant service providers and the applicable booking terms.

08. Exceptions

Although Panchbhootyatra follows a non-refundable booking policy, this policy does not intend to exclude any refund, remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable Indian law.

Where Panchbhootyatra itself is unable to provide a confirmed service and applicable law or the specific booking terms require a refund, the matter will be handled in accordance with those requirements.

Any exception, goodwill adjustment or alternative arrangement offered by Panchbhootyatra will be considered on a case-by-case basis and does not create a continuing obligation to provide similar exceptions in future bookings.

09. Disputes & Complaints

If you have a concern regarding a booking, payment or travel service, please contact Panchbhootyatra as soon as reasonably possible.

We will review the matter based on the booking information, payment records, service details, applicable terms and circumstances of the case.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any statutory consumer rights or legal remedies available to a customer under applicable Indian law.
